What is European Nymphing?

European nymphing is the technique that is used in the World Fly Fishing Championship’s which will be held in the vail valley in Sept 2016.  All of the competitors from last month’s Youth Fly fishing championships also employed this extremely effective style of fishing.  The systems and flies used in competition fishing are quite a bit different from traditional fly fishing.  As part of the group who controlled the Youth and America’s Cup events the last 4 years we have seen firsthand the effectiveness of European Nymphing.
