The Orvis Pro Fly Fishing Wading Jacket offers you excellent protection from water and wind on fishing destinations. It is made up of a 3 layered windproof and water resistant polyester fabric that comes with a water repellent coating.
YKK AquaGuard Water Resistant Zippers Side Zippers secure and provide easy access to waders and important jewelry that you can/should store in your wader. There are two large, waterproof, vertical exterior pockets for storing larger items. An internal zippered safety pocket keeps valuables secure and out of the way, while an elastic four-way mesh interior pocket for larger items expands and folds so it doesn’t get in the way when empty.
The Dolphin Skin Cuff System prevents the water from running down your arm while fishing. There are rubber tabs for safety and easy access to tools and tweezers. Three-way adjustable hood with a laminated brim keeps your head warm and dry.
The bracelets are made of synthetic material that wraps around the wrist and prevents water from getting in. There are 2 waterproof pockets and 2 inside pockets. The Orvis’s Pro has a laminated flap hood for added water protection and a rear D-ring attachment for the net.
The rain cover is quite large and has a three-way design to fit. The hood flap is laminated to protect the head from cold and moisture. A finely brushed suede chin guard is integrated into the hood to keep you warm and comfortable.
There’s a small Velcro style patch on the upper left chest to help you pick up your flies for travel. The equipment’s anchor points are on both sides of the upper chest. And the back of the jacket has a D-ring to secure the mesh. Orvis incorporated a microcide construction in two main areas: heated chest pockets for the hands and the neck area. These small touches provided welcome comfort. And the AquaGuard, which attaches to every zip on the jacket, retains outside moisture remarkably well at all angles. The Orvis Pro Wading Jacket has everything that makes it an exceptionally premium jacket. The Orvis Mens Pro wading jacket is available at the fly-fishing outfitters website at a price of $359.
