COLORADO FLY FISHING REPORTS FOR November 3rd. 2023 – VAIL, BEAVER CREEK & Roaring Fork valley’s CO.

Last Updated: October 13th, 2023
Early November can be some great opportunities to catch large Trout. The Browns are in full spawn so please let them do their thing. Recognizing spawning redds is a key to understanding where the other Trout are hanging out looking for a easy meal of eggs and other insects that get swept off the reds. Many trout are laying just downstream of the browns that are on the redds. Rainbows, Whitefish and Cutthroats are all in positions downstream of the redds. The best fishing is going to be late morning through the late afternoons. Nymphing and Streamers are the ticket right now. If you have not experienced the vicious strike of a steamer hit, then this is a great time to give it a go.Â
